Tamar Berman, the United Synagogue’s Director of Schools Strategy, recently ran a Cheder Staff Training Morning with 40 attendees. There were sessions on engaging younger children, teaching hebrew reading, making homework effective, and supporting different neurotypes to create an inclusive environment.
Attendees heard from speakers Rabbi Cobi Ebrahimoff, Esther Colman (PaJeS) Rabbi Nicky Goldmeier, and Bradley Conway (Gesher School).
There were also presentations from Tribe and PaJeS regarding new programme initiatives.
The event was very successful and we hope to make it an annual occurrence.
