The United Synagogue is represented at the Board of Deputies by a number of ‘central’ Deputies in addition to some 80 hardworking Deputies from United Synagogue shuls. We are keen to invite two more US members to represent us centrally. You will work with other central US Deputies and hear from US Trustees to understand the charity’s priorities and values and convey them to the Board’s Honorary Officers, fellow Deputies and staff as appropriate.
You do not need to have been involved in the Board of Deputies before, though Trustees are keen to hear from candidates with relevant communal experience.
