Robert Goldstein is one of Northwood’s most loved members and is about to celebrate his 40th Birthday.
Robert is known by everyone in the community for the sterling role he performs as the Synagogue’s Shammas that he has held for over 20 years. On Friday he will work in the Synagogue getting the Kiddush ready, security equipment organised, putting out the Daf and other information sheets for the members. Robert, at any point in the service, will be able to advise those that ask him the exact page of the service.
Everyone at Northwood United Synagogue was thrilled when Robert recently started a new job at the House of Commons as a Service Delivery Coordinator. His work involves meeting civil servants and guests and escorting them to various conference rooms, ensuring they have all the resources they need. He has been issued with a Security Pass which enables him to enter other buildings if necessary around Westminster. He is a trusted colleague.
Robert has always strived to be involved with as many jobs and activities as he can, so despite his new found fame at the House of Commons he decided to carry on with his other two other administrative roles.
Well done Robert! Have a very Happy 40th Birthday.
