For many years Mr Les Fellman, a Staines Synagogue stalwart, life president and warden, showed hundreds of local schools and cub/scout packs around our Synagogue to introduce them to Judaism to explain “what we do and why we do it”.
He did an absolutely brilliant job and his son Maurice is carrying on with this invaluable work, ably assisted by Mr Richard Fox whose family have also been members for many years.
If we can give as many people as possible even a basic understanding of what we are “all about” then the world would be a better place so I would like to pay tribute to Les, Maurice and Richard and all the other people around the country who do similar things. Carry on the great work!
