An unique cooperation between Finchley (Kinloss) Synagogue and Leket, Israel’s National Food Bank, had over 100 people hosted across several members’ homes for a Tu BiShvat seder, using a Kinloss Seder programme and fruit provided by the synagogue. The seder was planned to reinforce the link between our community and the Land of Israel, highlighting the extraordinary work of Leket, especially at this challenging time.
Video contributions from Chief Rabbi Mirvis, the Israel Ministry of Agriculture and the CEO of Leket brought home the religious, historical and national relevance of the festival to participants.
Due to its popularity Kinloss is looking to make this an annual event.
