Over 50 women joined to celebrate Rosh Chodesh Sivan with a musical Hallel at Golders Green Synagogue. The event was part of our ongoing uplifting religious programme for women.
Participants enjoyed traditional and modern songs reflecting the current situation in Israel and listened to divrei Torah from Rebbetzen Dr Hadassah Fromson and Shira Klajman in preparation for Shavuot.
Hadassah sang and led a small band with Shira Klajman, Jordana Braham, Jo Jacobson and Arielle Fromson. This was followed by lovely cheesecake and other refreshments.
Rebbetzen Fromson said: “It was deeply inspiring and moving to pray with so many women, and truly impressive that on a Wednesday evening, so many made the special effort to attend. There was a unique energy in the room as voices came together in beautiful song.
“It was heartening to witness women connecting to such an authentic and uplifting religious experience. We look forward to creating more opportunities for women to feel inspired and elevated through our traditional tefillot and songs.”
