Golders Green held some wonderful events over Purim. We started on Thursday night with a packed shul to listen to the megillah. Children enjoyed ‘Purim with a Glow’ party – an interactive megillah play with a glow twist!
After megillah there was followed by a great dinner & bar and a ‘Stand Up to Purim’ evening with stand-up comedians. We also had wonderful women’s megillah readings (both Thursday evening & Friday morning) – where we heard amazing layning from women aged from 13 to 86!
The next morning there was a tasty breakfast following megillah and then we had a fabulous seudah with a bouncy castle, arts & crafts and a delicious BBQ. Finally on Shabbat morning we had a Purim themed kiddush.
