We welcomed 50 members to a Shabbat evening meal at the synagogue, with a three course meat meal and Israeli wines. Our guest speakers were Colin and Hazel Green, who have been living in Tel Aviv, and described movingly how it felt to be there for the last 5 months, volunteering and looking after their grandchildren.
On Shabbat morning we had a good attendance to hear Rosalynde Lewis, our representative on the Board of Deputies, speak about growing up at the time the new State of Israel was created. An enhanced Kiddush was enjoyed by all.
