A psychologist, sex therapist, and rebbetzin at Golders Green United Synagogue, Rebbetzen Dr Hadassah Fromson is one of the few Yoatzot Halacha in the UK. She expertly intertwines diverse Torah topics with psychological insights, making ancient wisdom accessible for modern living. Hailing from Gibraltar, this mother of four brings a unique perspective to every session.
Rabbi Sam Fromson is a rabbi in Golders Green United Synagogue and co-founder of startup YuLife where he has led $200m in fundraising and built a team of 250 people. Sam studied science in Cambridge and completed semicha in Israel. He is married and a father of four.
Rabbi Samuel Millunchick, Rabbi of Belmont United Synagogue, combines traditional yeshiva depth and rigour with scholarly acumen, delivering a multi-faceted approach to Judaism. His teachings marry time-honoured traditions with modern complexities. Expect intellectually engaging sessions that will both challenge and deepen your understanding.
Rabbi Jack Cohen received a BA in Philosophy from University College London before spending five years studying for rabbinic ordination at Yeshivat Har Etzion in Israel. He has served as the associate rabbi at Hampstead Synagogue and is currently the senior rabbi at the vibrant Mill Hill East Jewish Community in London. His greatest passion is learning and teaching Torah.
After 15 years as a management consultant, Naomi Verber left the city to work in the community and environmental movement. She was chair of Golders Green Synagogue and went on to partner with the charity Sadeh to conceptualise, design and run Europe’s first Kosher eco hotel. Naomi now works as head of Environmental Policy for the United Synagogue.
Richard Verber is the Chief Communications Officer of the United Synagogue. He is a Holocaust educator for March of the Living UK and has held a number of roles in the British Jewish community including Senior Vice President of the Board of Deputies and co-Chair of Limmud Conference. Depressingly, he supports Manchester United.
A Kings College London history graduate originally from Sussex, Ben Vos has a youth movement background with ULPSNYC-Netzer. Having run events for Alei Tzion, a United Synagogue kehilla, Ben is now head of community development at the US. His interests include 17th century England, the portrayal of Jews in war films and Austria-Hungary.
