We are all stewards of this precious earth and at Potters Bar & Brookmans Park Shul, eco matters are incredibly important.
We’ve recently enjoyed two eco-events, the first being a morning of mindfulness and relaxation in our peaceful (and unique) Eco Garden, courtesy of our Eco-Gardeners Club. We also became Citizen Scientists and counted loads of butterflies for the Big Butterfly Count.
Then, as part of our regular walks, our Walking Club visited the Beaver Project enclosure at Archers Wood, Enfield. We didn’t see a beaver (they prefer to come out at dusk and dawn) but we did see a multitude of wonderful wildlife including Egyptian geese and goslings, Heron, Jay, Vole, fascinating fungi, Lords & Ladies, damselflies, dragonflies and lots of Small White, Holly Blue and Small Copper butterflies.
