Cindy was elected a Trustee of the United Synagogue in July 2025.

She served on the Synagogue Council of Borehamwood and Elstree Synagogue (BES) for three years, contributing to the strategic direction and growth of one of the United Synagogue’s largest communities. She then served as an Honorary Officer as Vice Chair of BES for two and a half years,  responsible for the Yavneh site including during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. She has also been a school governor and trustee of Yavneh College.

Professionally she is a Clinical Project Manager for clinical trials and holds an MSc degree in Medical Genetics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management.

She lives in Borehamwood with her husband and is a proud mother of three children.
