David was born and bred in Glasgow. After finishing school David spent a year on Bnei Akiva Hachshara, studying in Yeshiva Hesder Yerucham in the south of Israel. He then spent three years in Manchester and after graduating from The University of Salford with a degree in Business Information Systems he became the first Tribe Fieldworker in 2007.

After holding many different positions in Tribe and the United Synagogue, David was appointed Chief Operating Officer in February 2023.

He is married to Aviva and has three children.
