Born and raised in London, Tamar attended Southgate, Cockfosters and Bushey United Synagogues whilst growing up. On graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University, Tamar began her career working within the Jewish community for Norwood and then moving onto roles at Jewish Care, JNF and JFS before joining the United Synagogue.
Tamar has developed an expertise in Jewish Education both formative and early years through her roles voluntarily and professionally. She has devoted many years as a successful PTA chair and Foundation Governor at the Independent Jewish Day School, leading on Safeguarding, Early Years and Fundraising.
Tamar joined the US team bringing her interest and passion in children’s Jewish Education and knowledge of governance to help support the US schools, cheders and nurseries.
She lives in Hendon with her husband Joel, children Yael, Talia, Mia and Benjamin and dog Ollie.
