Belmont ‘adopt’ hostage Liri Albag

Belmont shul in Stanmore has officially “adopted” 18-year-old Liri Albag, who is among the more than 130 hostages being held in Gaza.
The project is part of an initiative by the Board of Deputies to show solidarity with the hostages and their families.
Belmont will also “reserve” a seat in shul in Liri’s name as a way to keep her and the other hostages present in the thoughts of the community.
“We hope as part of this initiative all the remaining hostages, and Liri in particular, will remain in our thoughts and prayers. They must not be forgotten,” said Belmont Chairwoman Barbara Lerner.
