Last night, over 190 people gathered to commemorate Yom Hazikaron, hearing powerful, heartfelt words from Anthony Moss, the uncle of Emily Damari and Janice Harris, the cousin of Jonathan Deitch, who tragically fell in battle. We also held words about our adopted hostages from Michelle Bamberg on her nephew Avinatan & from Paul Belsman on Elkana Bohbot. Their stories reminded us of the deep sacrifices made for our homeland.
As the solemn day turned into celebration, we welcomed Yom Ha’atzmaut with Hallel, followed by food, music from Bension Morris, dancing, and unity — embracing the miracle that is the State of Israel.
