The United Synagogue Chesed team had a busy Mitzvah Day at the Chesed Hub and beyond.
Volunteering sessions included a packing session for Watford, St Albans and Shenley at the Hub and present wrapping session at the Hub for Bushey members.
Jewish Care residents and day centres wrapped presents for US Chesed’s Toy Drive, as did Belmont and Muswell Hill shul members.
Welwyn Garden City and Cockfosters and Kisharon members made besamim packs from the re-purposed arba minim, and Hendon Shul collected toiletries for Chesed’s Asylum Seekers centre.
