Northwood & Ruislip Synagogue recently welcomed the Bishop of Willesden.
Following a moment of reflection to remember those who loved lost their lives on October 7, he spoke to the community on his interfaith work and addressed the changing attitudes to Judaism in the Church of England.
He didn’t shy away from difficult topics such as the statement made by the general Synod this summer on the Kairos Palestine declarations which he discussed openly and earnestly, and also responded to questions from an audience of over 70 people.
His parting message was one of warm friendship and collaboration which was reciprocated by our Rabbi Green and the two have undertaken to remain in close contact.
