Barnet Shul recently hosted a wonderful communal Friday Night Dinner, bringing together members of all ages for a sold-out evening of delicious food, great company and a real sense of community.
Guests were entertained by magician Ben Levy, who amazed everyone with his close-up magic as they enjoyed their Shabbat dinner. He later took centre stage to perform for the whole community, inviting members of the audience to get involved and even help him with some of his amazing tricks!
Since Rabbi Moshe Chaim and Rebbetzin Miri Lister joined Barnet Shul, they have helped bring the community together through a variety of events, but this was the first communal Friday Night Dinner held during their time at the shul.
Rebbetzin Miri Lister, who helped organise the evening alongside the shul’s wonderful events team, said: “It was truly wonderful to see so many members of the community come together for such a special evening. Seeing so many children and young adults engaging, forming connections and enjoying the evening together with the wider community brought an extra warmth and energy to the occasion. It was a real reflection of the vibrant, welcoming spirit of Barnet Shul, and we very much look forward to many more evenings like this!”
