Sharon Daniels, Head of Chesed and Volunteering, attended a Rosh Hashanah event for staff and volunteers at Watford General Hospital. Thank you to the multi-faith Chaplaincy team for bringing us together and for raising awareness of the needs and traditions of the community, both patients and staff.
Jewish Visiting, part of Chesed, coordinates chaplains and volunteers in hospitals across Greater London and Hertfordshire. During the chagim, our Chaplains will be visiting patients, blowing the shofar for them, bringing honey cakes, shaking the arba minim and ensuring people have company and a connection to the Jewish community.
