The last two days of Yom Tov brought mixed emotions to us all. Yes, there were the tears of memory and tragedy, but also the joy that Simchat Torah brings.
For the Wembley community, following the service, we were blessed with bright sunshine as we enjoyed our Kiddush wine under the beautiful new awning, finally erected outside our big, picture window facing our lovely garden. Celebration of the Chatanim, Philip Hyman and Hillier Wise, then continued inside the Vitez Hall.
A festive buffet was enjoyed by all present and presentations made to the Chatanim.
This memory will be one to cherish.
