If you would like to reserve a grave in a specific area in one of our cemeteries, please get in touch with the Burial Society on [email protected] or call 020 8950 7767 (option 3). They will be happy discuss the options available to you.
All selected burial spaces (reserves) in any of our cemeteries (excluding in the United Synagogue section of the Eretz HaChaim Cemetery in Israel) are subject to the Byelaws of the United Synagogue and the Burial Society.
A selected grave space can only be made, or held, in the name of a member of the United Synagogue, and as such, the person for whom the space is reserved must maintain continuous annual membership of both the United Synagogue and its Funeral Expenses Scheme.
If the named reservation holder resigns their United Synagogue membership or their membership is terminated/defaulted, the reserved plot will automatically be relinquished upon the termination of membership, and returned to the United Synagogue Burial Society for their use.
